The best thing there is that me and the kid has the same birthday! :)))
Making sure that it'll turn out to be the most memorable celebration ever for the kid.;)
I learn to wait, to move on my turn, to let other fulfill their dreams, to be a friend, to make someone as my friend, to learn from others, and to share what I have, to plant my dreams and to learn in the best way possible.

First fellowship for this year
Last January 21, we were at Quezon city circle for Tita Chay's post birthday celebration/ first Media team's fellowship and exploring The Feast's history. I was happy to know that we have a wonderful leader and mentor. Aside from that every photographers, writers, PR specialist, special project team and artists truly rock as they shared their view about this year plans.
The park explicitly showing us its beauty through the playground and fun activities there. While the sun touched our skin, we still had a lunch picnic under the big tree.

I recommend this place for you. This is perfect venue for playing charades while laughing with family or friends, storytelling and listening to your mothergoose, intensive planning, practicing for any perfomances, and educational activities. After a having a bunchful lunch, Ate Kimmy, provided us a brown paper, colors and pencils unleashing our creativity through drawing our dreams for this year.
Once I hold any colors, I'll be unstoppable in using it.
Everyone participated well, and excited to showcase their dreamboard manifesting in the future.
Proudly presents my masterpiece! :)
Afterwards, we roam around the place and we met this hunk- sadly we didn't get his name.
Isn't he cool with his shades?
(wishing Jewel was here)
kudos big kiddos!
Of course, we returned to a serious planning for our assembly this February. That place was good for refreshment and to make your creative juices work spontaneously. Nature, you're a big help!
Time's up! Time for recreation again: charades

On that day, I've learned that it only takes an initiative to plan plus other's cooperation to experience a blast. Thank you for saying "yes" to that invitation and have fun!:D

Celebrating my 24th birthday
"This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24
It doesn't have to be a grandious party to be happy on your birthday. Like mine, I woke up with feeling good and blessed for another year of my life. I was actually excited for this birthday (well, I'm like this eversince though.) I actually prayed intensely to the Lord, Thanking Him and offering this day to Him. Because He loves me, He gave what I pray for- to have a simple celebration with people who are close to my heart. I'll use this month to make it happen. I received messages from Facebook, read birthday posts, cheerful greetings from my officemate. Even the store manager in Mini stop knew my birthday, yes after divulging it to her..hehe.. My sister, Pao cooked carbonara and cheesesticks for me and my officemates.
Here are some of the gifts and letters I received:

Note: It's fun to initiate in asking your friends about their birthday wish for you. And I did. I'll never regret that I did. I love their answers. May all the dreams that God has for me happen in HIS time.:)

Happy Birthday, Ma!
Last June 12, Sunday was my mom’s 48th birthday. Supposedly, I would write for her prior to her birthday, but I’ve been busy and pre-occupied with so many things. So I postpone in doing so. Now, I have to do this. Not out of pressure but out of outpouring love for her.
My mom is not a super mushy mom, she’s actually a little bit stubborn and sometimes strict mom. She was used to shout to us when things aren’t done immediately. She wakes up very early in the morning because her body clock works that way. When she’s already awake, she’d do her best not to make us awake, because we normally wake up late-there may be times when she’d wanted us to wake up early so she’ll make annoying sounds in doing so.
There are so many funny things about her: She can be very, very cool especially when I’ll seek her attention and we’ll sing together. Eventhough she doesn’t know the song that I’m singing, she’ll still listen and sing with me(mind you her lyrics are most of the time wrong.haha)
Next, when I’m going to share about my day to her. She’ll sometimes listen and along the way she’ll make gossip about special people of her life and sometimes even the non-sense things. She’s also thoughtful because she’d rather let us eat first before her.
She ‘s also reminding us to still use ‘po’ and ‘opo’ once we talk to old people.
She prompt us to pray to the Lord earnestly especially when problem strikes and when blessings rain in our family.
She taught us to love old singers, vintage things and old-fashion way of living.
When we’re having a problem and we’re confuse about the world we live in. we seek her advise and she will always tell us to not to follow the wrong things she’d done with her life.
I saw her eyes light up still when I talk about how beautiful she is, she’d just slightly upward her shoulder and looks at me amazingly and she’’ll say” ‘Of course!’
I love her curly short hair like a flower and her light brown eyes deep like an ocean.
She also loves poor people. She’s actually a giver to them. She’s a good listener and she knows how to connect with people around her. She loves my friends and she sometimes love them more than me..haha
There maybe times of misunderstanding and I’ll show her my stubborn side but in the end of the day. We forgive and forget. We let go and move on, because she loves me more than I love her.
Those are the small things that I appreciate more about her. And last Sunday, everything worked on perfectly for her birthday. It was a simple celebration among us (me, Pao and close friends). After attending The Feast, she got a free ride, treat and movie ticket. She received love, hugs, kisses and smiles. She’s the most special woman on that day, and for almost 12 hours she kept quiet and accepting the gifts of the world to her. I won’t forget that very simple day.:)
She was very happy and seeing her happy multiplies my happiness too.:)))
Again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mama Mariela! You’re simply the best.:)

My 7th birthday
7 years is a perfect year. Well it comes from a biblical teaching about the seven days of CREATION.
But when my 7th birthday came, typhoon Rosing hit Manila. I was watching the raging wind
made the roof outside thrown and flown away. There was no electricity all over our
place, the only light that illuminated our house was my big 7 candle.
It was a perfect DISASTER as I was thinking wayback then.
I even went outside to buy my cake with my mom and I remember holding
her and asking her to hug me because it was really cold outside.
When I went home, my legs was muddy and I had to clean it inside
the washroom. Then my aunt asked me to prepare myself because we had to
eat and celebrate(?)then. I remembered singing a less enthusiastic "Happy birthday" song. I blew my candle's light, so apparently we have to light up a real candle to enlighten our house.
I ate my cake with an uncomfortable feeling. I can't remember if I cried. But I was aware that I was sad. My family was there but I can't invite any other friends.
That's how it was, gloomy, of course. But who hadn't share any sad moments? I'm sure. Everyone does. And this is mine.:(
